Description
This radiant® 15-Amp 125-Volt Tamper-Resistant, Weather-Resistant GFCI duplex receptacle is built for homeowners and contractors who need reliable ground-fault protection with easier installation and ongoing diagnostics. It conducts an automatic self-test every 3 seconds and flashes a red LED if the device fails, while the proven SafeLock feature disconnects power if critical components are damaged. The patented tamper-resistant shutter helps prevent improper insertion of foreign objects to meet NEC requirements, and the feed-through wiring configuration lets the GFCI protect downstream receptacles. Installers will appreciate the new external back wire pressure plates, posted terminal screws and redesigned side wire cavity for faster, more secure connections, and the device prevents line-load reversal by cutting power to the face and downstream outlets if wired incorrectly. Finished in gray to blend with outdoor or indoor environments.
