Description
The National Presto 23-Quart Pressure Canner and Cooker is a heavy-duty aluminum canner designed for home preservers who want reliable, USDA-recommended pressure processing for low-acid foods. Its extra-strong, warp-resistant aluminum construction works on regular and smooth-top ranges and holds up to 26 half-pint, 20 pint, or 7 quart mason jars, making it ideal for canning vegetables, meats and fish or for small-batch meal prep. The easy-to-read gauge registers a complete range of processing pressures while the air vent/cover lock ensures pressure builds only when the cover is properly secured and prevents opening until pressure has dropped. It also doubles as a water-bath canner for fruits, jams, jellies, pickles and salsas, and includes a cooking/canning rack plus an instruction and recipe book.
