Description
The DeWALT 1/2-Inch x 3-Inch Carbon Steel Screw Anchor is a heavy-duty anchor designed for fastening into high-strength concrete where a secure, removable connection is needed. You'd choose this anchor when installing fixtures near edges or when working with tough concrete that requires threads to tap in reliably. Its tough threads are made for high-strength concrete and allow installation closer to edges than traditional expansion anchors, while the one-piece finished head and ratchet teeth under the hex washer bite against the fixture to lock it in place. It installs quickly with a powered impact wrench and is fully removable and re-installable in the same hole for adjustments or reuse. Sized for standard ANSI tolerance drill bits and finished in carbon steel at a 3-inch length, it’s ideal for mounting equipment, brackets, and structural attachments where repeatable performance matters.
