Description
The Mann+Hummel MERV 8, MPR 600, FPR 5-rated electrostatically charged medium efficiency air filters offer you the protection needed from airborne particles and contaminates while improving the air quality for your residential or commercial applications. Inferior quality filters, unfiltered air, and insufficient change intervals all can potentially be detrimental to your HVAC system and having healthy air if left unaddressed. Being pro-active with changing your filters and by selecting an optimal filter for your setting can drastically reduce damage and wear to your air conditioning unit.
Your system cannot cool or heat your air unless it gets ample air flow. This is why frequent change intervals (industry standard of every three months) is highly recommended. With the MERV 8 extremely low pressure drop and high dust holding capacity, these filters are great for your utilization to supply your home or business with the air quality you wish for while optimizing the performance and longevity of your HVAC unit. Constructed from a two-piece frame provides rigidity and durability with double-wall thickness around the outer edge.
The filter is derived from a mechanical blend of synthetic fibers which achieves a MERV 8 rating per ASHRAE 52.2 Test Standard. Independently tested and verified for quality control (comparable with MPR 600). Captures and blocks Lint, Dust, Pet Dander, Pollen, Dust Mites, and Mold. 100-percent synthetic, proprietary media withstands moisture and damage. Rust-resistant, expanded metal support grid made of galvanized steel. 100-percent water repellent, high-durability adhesive coats entire interior of frame. Pleat consistency maximizes performance.
