Description
Cement board is hard and dense and requires a specialized screw to properly fasten this heavy material into wood and steel studs. Since it is often installed where moisture is an issue, Power Pro coats their Cement Board Screws with a corrosion-resistant gray epoxy coating for interior or exterior applications and treated lumber. Power Pro Cement Board screws are designed to work in all cement board brands.
The large diameter, low profile wafer head allows for a more secure attachment and is textured for superior mortar adhesion. Underneath, the head incorporates an aggressive blade system that allows for flush countersinking. To prevent cracking, Power Pro’s twist shank clears out debris for a cleaner hole and the high-low thread design speeds up installation. Star drive enables one-hand installation and more points of contact to reduce cam-out.
