Description
The Eastman™ 1/2-IN OD gas dryer connector kit is designed to connect most major brands of gas dryers to a shut-off valve. The connector is certified for use with most dryers with gas ratings up to 60,500 BTUs. The gas dryer connector kit includes an ArmorBoost™ EFV (thermal excess flow valve). The ArmorBoost™ EFV from Eastman™ is designed to help protect you and your family from catastrophic ruptures or disconnects in your gas line. The ArmorBoost™ valve immediately restricts gas flow to help protect you from the build-up of flammable gas. The valve will remain activated until the gas line is properly repaired. For added protection, the ArmorBoost™ EFV features a special fire-safe thermal ring that expands to stop gas flow when extreme temperatures of 350? + are reached. The DuraCoat™ Epoxy Coating provides extra protection from corrosion, chemical stains from common household products, and UV rays and is approved for indoor/outdoor use.
This kit includes (1) 48-IN 1/2-IN OD epoxy-coated gas dryer connector, (1) 1/2-IN MIP (Tapped 3/8-IN FIP) ArmorBoost™ EFV auto shut-off valve, (1) 3/8-IN MIP (Tapped 1/4-IN FIP) fitting, (1) 1/2-IN FIP fitting, (1) 1/2-IN MIP (tapped 3/8-IN FIP), (1) leak detector solution, (1) thread sealant. The gas connector is to be used for natural gas or LP water heaters, dryers, and moderate usage appliances. The connector is certified for indoor and outdoor use on appliances up to 60,500 BTUs. DuraCoat epoxy coating protects against corrosion, stains, and UV.
