When choosing high dexterity gloves, you are choosing a category of gloves that have been constructed from the best combinations of knit liners and palm dips available. Compression knit liners are the secret behind high dexterity gloves. Comfortably form fitting to your hand they allow you to perform fine hand manipulations without experiencing hand fatigue. These liners are predominately knit from either cotton for breathability, nylon for memory fit retention, or polyester for economic value. The palms are dipped in compounds such as Nitrile, Latex, PVC, and Polyurethane, depending on the performance requirement of that style. Different thicknesses and finishes within each dipping compound will also enhance certain performance characteristics. Generally, Nitrile offers the best durability, latex the best cool weather flexibility, PVC foam the best wet grip, and Polyurethane the best dexterity.
