Description
Blue PEX-B Pipe:
PEX Pipe is a cross-linked polyethylene pipe used for potable water application.The pipe is printed with a SharkBite imprint pattern that provides a visual aid to determine if thepipe has been inserted all the way into the SharkBite® Push-To-Connect (PTC) fitting. Thisfeature only works if the pipe is cut between the SharkBite imprint pattern.
Cross-linked polyethylene pipe approved for use in residential and commercial installations.
Faster installation compared to rigid pipe. Flexibility to bend pipe around corners. Available in coils up to 1,000 ft. in length, allowing longer runs and fewer connections -- reducing cost, time and potential leak points. Freeze-resistant pipe can expand slightly if frozen and contract when thawed. Ideal for hot and cold potable water distribution, fire protection and municipal water service lines.
