Description
Nuts, sleeves and inserts are vital components to making a water-tight compression connection. The sleeves slide over the tube and compress onto the tubing as the nut is tightened onto the fitting. Inserts provide a solid surface for the tube and ferrule to compress onto and should be used only for vinyl, rubber and poly tubing types. Compression fittings are constructed of lead-free brass and are ideal for multiple potable water and other liquid plumbing systems. Each compression connection for each fitting comes with a ferrule and insert for a secure project installation. This type of fitting is ideal for connecting to aluminum tubing, brass pipe, copper tubing and polyethylene tubing.
