Description
The Southland Malleable Iron Galvanized Pipe Plug is a threaded plug designed to close off pipe ends where you need a rust-resistant interior surface and a reliable seal. Made from galvanized malleable iron with a zinc coating, this 150-lb class fitting is suited for hot and cold water systems, refrigeration, sprinklers, compressed air, gasoline, diesel, alcohol and other applications where corrosion protection matters. Its relatively soft malleable iron helps the plug form a sure seal in threaded connections, and the threads comply with ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 standards for compatibility with standard pipe fittings. Rated to 500 PSI at 150°F, this plug offers robust pressure handling for common plumbing and mechanical jobs while providing the corrosion resistance of a galvanized finish.
