Description
Madison's new Smart Shield is an innovative steel nail guard that protects wire and cable in wood framing. The unique cylindrical shape houses wire and cable for better protection from both sides of the stud, eliminating the need for multiple standard nail plates. Smart Shield is faster and easier to install, and eliminates drywall budge caused by using surface mounted nail plates. Manufactured with heat treated steel for strength, Smart Shield is also zinc plated to reduce electrolysis. Smart Sheild is resistant to direct strikes from nail guns and screws, and preventing damage to electrical power cables, potentially shorting the conductors and starting a fire.
