The ingredients are water, sugar and added electrolytes. These added electrolytes help keep your hummers hydrated and healthy, the top priority of hummingbird lovers. This naturally clear hummingbird food mimics flower nectar and it contains no red dye or other artificial colors. The lack of red color does not affect this nectar's ability to attract hummingbirds, as hummers find and enjoy clear nectar just as often as the red alternatives. For best results, clean your feeder before adding Pennington ElectroNectar. Refrigerate ElectroNectar after opening to retain freshness between refills.
