Installing or Replacing a Programmable Thermostat

SHUT OFF FURNACE AND POWER FIRSTDisconnect old wires, and make a note where they were connected

Remove old thermostat. Pull wires through new back plate. Install mounting screws. Level back plate, then tighten screws.

Using your notes, connect wires to new thermostat. Push excess wire into wall.

Replace cover. Turn power and furnace back on. Program settings
