About Water Shutoff Valves

There are 2 shutoffs at a meter. Use the supply side to prevent damage to the meter from building water pressure.

Water heaters will have a shutoff valve. Sinks and toilets may have one too. |

For some fixtures the shutoff valve may behind an access panel or under the floor. |
