Furniture Sales Associate (Inside) (Sedalia, MO)
A Furniture Sales Associate (Inside) position is currently open at our Sedalia, MO location. Career opportunities may be available to full-time employees.
Objectives:
The qualified candidate will be a self-motivated individual who will be a part of our retail sales team. He/she must demonstrate excellent customer service skills within our Home Design Center. This successful candidate will be effective in helping customers determine their needs and fulfilling them while maintaining a clean and organized showroom. This position will work cooperatively with management and other employees.
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers and taking customer phone calls
- Listening to the customer's needs and steering them towards the right products
- Maintaining an excellent sales floor
- Follow up with customer when necessary
- All employees are expected to be flexible and to do "whatever it takes" to help other co-workers and the company succeed
Qualifications:
- Must be able to work a varied schedule that may include day, evening and weekend shifts
- 2+ years of sales experience
- Must maintain a high level of product knowledge
- Demonstrate effective selling techniques
- Ability to achieve sales goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Efficiency in multi-tasking
- Excellent follow-through skills
- Positive and professional attitude
- Responsible and reliable
- Motivated and hardworking
- Pleasant and engaging personality
- Strong customer focus
- High standard of honesty and integrity
- High school diploma or equivalent
