Make sure the mums are dry before applying spray paint. Clean out any debris that might be left in the planter. Remember this willl be rather dry and easy to break off. If you want to get rid of all the leaves first, that will give the display a bit less dense. Then spray away!
Carefully hang colorful ornaments to give it a bright pop of color. This process can get a bit messy as the dry leaves will break away. Keep the broom handy! Use lighter ornament to avoid breakage. We decided to use burlap around the pot to give it a rustic look. This is best displayed indoor or covered porch or patio.
