Home Trends in 2024

The home design industry is constantly evolving and 2024 is no exception. We had a chat with Stephanie Cushwa - the Design Pro at our Wornall location, she shared some insight about trends she sees for 2024! Here are a few of the top trends to watch for in 2024:

• Earth tones in tile and cabinets. Neutral colors are still popular, but earth tones are gaining traction for 2024. This includes shades of brown, beige and gray. These colors create a warm and inviting atmosphere and are also very versatile.

• Same countertop and backsplash for clean lines. Another trend that's gaining popularity is using the same countertop and backsplash material. This creates a clean and streamlined look and it's very easy to maintain.
• Pops of color. While neutral colors are still the dominant trend, pops of color are also making a comeback. This can be done through bright tile around a window, colorful fixtures or even a statement piece of furniture. 

• Off white. 2024 is the year kitchens are warm again! Leave the stark white in the past and keep your home warm and inviting. Stark white can be a turn off while warm whites invite guests in.       

 

• Gold accents. Go for the gold in 2024 in your tile accents.
