Festive game idea for the holidays is here. We added some sparkles and sprinkles to the simple classic red cups you might have laying around in your cabinet.
Things you will need:
- Plastic cups
- Metallic Spray paint
- Mod Podge or glue
- Glitter
- Brush
- And goodies to hide under the cups
Spray the metallic color of your choice! We went with the classic silver & gold theme. Let dry.
After the paint is dry, apply mod podge where you want to sprinkle glitter. We found that using smaller and fine glitter seems to work better than bigger size. We followed the top wave line of the cups. Let dry overnight. You could use glittery setting spray too so it won't smear every where. (We used the sealer spray but made sure it didn't get in the paint.)
Plenty of goodies will fit under the cups; cash, candy, lottery tickets, gift cards, small toys. Everyone takes turn picking a cup. You never know what you will get! We'd say hide a few pieces of "charcoal" with a funny message for good ol' fun! Let the game begin!
