Looking for something to do with your old Britannicas/ Encyclopedias? We have a way to repurpose them and such a perfect time for getting your home decorated with a spooky vibe.
Things you will need:
- An Encyclopedia (s)
- Spray paint (we used Metallic and Hammered spray for added effect)
- Hot glue gun
Heat up the glue gun and start making the design. As you start drawing, there will be some strings left behind. No need to fret. You can peel them off easily or leave them be. The spray paint will cover them pretty well. And if you mess up your design, you can easily peel the dry glue off and redo.
Start with the first coat using the metallic paint. You will see that the book won’t have much dimension to it. Apply hammered paint sparingly on edges and corners to create shimmering effects. Let dry.
