Fun awaits when the leaves are falling and it doesn’t necessarily mean all brown or beige! ! We have an easy project kids and crafty fans are gonna love! All you need is household glue, a paint brush, spray paint and glitters of your choice.

Gather the kiddos and get them hunting for beautiful fall leaves of all shapes and sizes This is ideal to do early in the season as the leaves are not too dry and will make it easier to apply glue.

Brush glue with the paint brush on thoroughly to cover the leaf, especially those tiny edges.

For thicker coverage, we sprinkle glitter straight onto the glued leaf first. Shake off the excess and dabbing on the back of the leaf.

We use a paper plate to apply glitter (rather than foam material). The residue is easier to clean off. If you go for multi color, we suggest dumping the excess of each color onto one bowl. We eventually have all 18 colors mixed together. Let’s create a multi shimmering effect.

Pour the remaining mixed color onto a plate, add solid black glitter on top, and press the glued leaf directly on the glitter. The shimmering effect is so pretty!![]() |

This is optional: You can spray paint the stems to your desired color.
Look how pretty as you layer them with different sizes and colors.
Now let’s put them to good use. |
Here are a few ideas to show off you colorful creations. Hang them on the mantle, upstyle your vase, perfect to put under artificial led candles! You can add them to a plate setting or a centerpiece just in time for Thanksgiving dinner. These will also make great ornaments for Chrismas trees!
