Here is a wild crafty idea to feed your friendly backyard birds. You may already have the old fashion tea cup set in your kitchen, if not you can pick them up at estate sales, thrift stores or garage sales. You can easily turn them into a one of a kind bird feeder. What a fun yard decor and a conversation piece!

Things you will need:
- Tea cup set with saucer
- Glue stick and glue gun
- Yarn or twine
- Bird food
- Shepherd hook or hangers

First decide how you want to prop up the tea cup. You can angle it to stick out of the the saucer as much as you want to allow more space when filling in the seed. Keep in mind the weight of the cup and how it will hang and balance so seeds won't spill over. We planned on hanging from the cup handle.

Heat up the glue gun and start applying onto the cup. The benefit of using the glue stick is the speed of how fast it dries. Hold the cup in place for just a few seconds until dry.

Cut the yard or twine and tie it up to the desired height. This is when Physics meets Creativity.

Fill the seed in the cup first and let it spill over.

We planned on using a single thread around the handle; however once we filled the seed, it was lopsided. We added another piece of yard to keep the feeder secure. We don't want our birdies to hang off balance!
