If you did't look at our blog title, would you have guessed these colorful planter are made from PVC pipe? Add fun colors to your landscape and patio. Let's get to it.

Things you will need:
- PVC pipe ( Depending on how many you want to make. We used a 4-Inch X 2-Foot PVC Cut Pipe)
- Pipe Cutter or saw
- Outdoor spray paint (colors of your choice)
- Disposable gloves
- Tape measure
- Plants (4.5" pot )
- Potting Soil

Decide the different heights you want to create. With a 2 foot pipe, we marked a cut at 5", 8" and 11" (about 3" different in height).

We recommend choosing complimentary and similar texture spray paint for continuity. We used satin in a pastel color scheme for this project. You can always do a momochrome with one color and choose different color plants as well.

You don't necessarily need to spray the inside since the dirt will cover it up. Let dry.

There are 2 ways to display these planters. First one, you can fill them with potting soil and place them right in the garden for the root to grow into the ground. This way your plant will certainly get bigger. They look great against our black colored mulch! What a wow factor for your landscape.

Second option, which is perfect for a patio or front porch, is keeping them in containers you purchase from Sutherlands. For the 4" round pipes, the small premium annual fits just right. You might see a bit of the edges but your plant will grow and spill over. The cascading types of plants, such as wave petunias, will be perfect for this option. Your plant might not get as big but they will be a conversation piece!
