Twine Wrapped Bottle Wedding Decor

Published on

Things you will need:

We are making 2 styles of twine wrapped bottles. One (in mason jar) is to be hung on a sherpherd hook and 2 small glass flower bottles for table center pieces.

Heat up the glue gun. Prewrap to determine the desired height. For this 5" tall bottle, we will wrap 4 times.

Apply a dollop of glue just at the starting spot where the tip of the twine will be placed. Let it cool for a few seconds.

Start wrapping the twine around a few layers. You will not need to glue it in every layer. Trim the twine and glue the end to the glass.

Next up is the hanging style. Leave an ample amount of twine to make a loop at the end.

Repeat the same method as before.

For this 5" mason jar, we went with 5 layers of twine. When finished, trim it long enough so you can make a loop.

Tie the twine on top and apply glue to the ends. Hold them together with a clip. Let dry thoroughly.

When making arrangements of this style, it is best to do it while hanging as the flowers can shift significantly depending on the angle. You will be surprised how many plants in your garden can make this simple display. In pic, we only bought the rose; the rest are fresh picks from the garden.

Here are a few things you might want to add to your shopping list and pic ideas for more wedding DIYs.
