Are you a candle fanatic!? All those candles that have left over wax with no wick left you just throw away. We have a great couple ideas how to repurpose them.

Things you will need:
- Candle jars
- Drawer pulls
- Glue gun and glue stick
- Candle warmer

There are 3 ways to clean the left over wax out of the jar. The easiest method is to use a candle warmer. With this you are able to get the last wonderful fragrance out of your candles. 2nd Method is putting them in a pan of boiling water. Last method is to microwave. DO NOT microwave with those metal based wicks are still in the jar. You can remove them when melting towards the end and when you are ready, put it in the microwave.

Pour out the melted wax best you can. Wipe the residue out with paper towels. For the final clean up, place them in the dishwasher.

Choosing the drawer pulls is so much fun. Sutherlands carries all styles from modern knobs to really ornate ones. We recommend choosing ones with a little base to apply glue on,

Heat up the glue gun and and apply a small amount to the base of the drawer knob and attach to the lid. Let dry.

You can use these to organize and store so many things; buttons, hair clips, paper clips, all sorts of household knick-knacks. Look at your junk drawer! The clear ones will be good for displaying candy too. They make a unique gift for the teachers, co-workers, friends and family!
So next time before you start pitching them out, pick your favorites and repurpose. Create a matching set and fun color ones.
