Adjusting the Pilot Light on a Range

Remove control knob to access the adjustment screws for the pilot light

Turn adjustment screw until flame tip reaches the center of the flash tub |

If range uses a thermocouple, adjust the flame to touch about ½ inch from end of device
|
If flame is mostly yellow, the flame is not getting enough air. Clean tip of pilot tube.

| If you have a split flame, clean out dirt form pilot tube | A lifting flowing flame is caused by high gas pressure. Call your utility company. |
