Dr. Ts Nature Products ® offers a variety of innovative solutions to effectively control nuisance animals and insects by providing powerful, natural products for your specific needs. What It Controls Dr. Ts Nature Products Snake-A-Way Snake Repelling Granules is a granular snake repellent that is applied around the perimeter of the area to be protected. How It Works When snakes come in contact with Snake-A-Way, they are deterred because it interferes with their sensory reception system. The snake flicks its tongue and places the forks of his tongue into the roof of his mouth where the Jacobson's organ is located. Scents and vapor molecules are picked up by the snake giving it very specific details of what is around it. Snake-A-Way temporarily shuts this sensory reception down, leaving the snake disoriented, causing the snake to leave the area to seek fresh air. Residual protection lasts for 2 to 3 months and should be reapplied after heavy rain.
