Description

This Westinghouse Lighting 3/4-Inch by 24-Inch Extension Down Rod helps maximize your ceiling fan's cooling benefits by providing the proper height. It features a brushed nickel finish that complements existing ceiling fans and tapered threaded ends for a secure connection. The extension down rod measures 24 in long by 3/4 in in diameter, and is ideal for rooms with 11-foot ceilings. It can be used with Westinghouse or other ceiling fans that require a 3/4-inch diameter ceiling fan extension down rod. For optimum performance and safety, ceiling fan blades should be at least 7 ft from the floor but no higher than 8 to 9 ft in order to best cool a room. For ceilings 9 ft and higher, an extension down rod is required to bring the ceiling fan down to the proper height above the floor.
