- A valve box extension is used to elevate the height of an existing valve box enclosing sprinkler valves to protect them from rodents and standard wear and tear
- Coloring and UV inhibitors are added along with processing lubricants when needed to prevent discoloration and deterioration such as cracking and blistering
- The cover seat area has 16 structural support ribs on the underside of the seat
- Overlapping covers prevent dirt and grass from settling between body and cover
- Includes a 3/8-inch nut
Description
Industry standard description is 14 in x 19 in x 6 in Valve Box Extension with overlapping ICV Cover. It is tapered so the top is gradually smaller than the bottom and actual size may be different to accommodate tapering and lip of valve box. Injection-molded of structural foam polyolefin for strength and durability.
