Description

With user safety in mind, the new SKIL® 9296-01 7.5 Amp 4-1/2 in Paddle Switch Angle Grinder features a non-locking paddle switch that automatically turns off when released or dropped. With other traditional grinders, the power switch is located on the top of the tool, but on the 9296-01, the power switch is found on the bottom of the tool right where you hold on to it. This way, the tool is powered when you're ready to use it and automatically turns off when released or dropped. Additional features include a 3-position vibration reducing handle that allows you to comfortably hold the tool without excessive vibration, a durable 8 ft rubber cord that provides better maneuverability, an on-tool wrench storage that keeps the blade wrench conveniently tucked into the handle and a tool-less guard adjustment which allows quick and easy grinder wheel replacement. All these features and more are built into the compact but powerful SKIL® 9296-01 7.5 amp grinder. Its light weight reduces user fatigue while cutting various bars, rods or bolts, cleaning metal and sharpening blades or even cutting mortar.
