Description
This maximum security combination strike is constructed of stamped steel and it comes plated in a brass finish. It features slightly taller latch and bolt openings to accommodate door hardware spaced from 5-1/2 in to 6 in from center to center. This security strike is designed to replace the standard (separate) latch and deadbolt strike plates with a one-piece combo plate and up to 5 more screws for maximum security. Installation of this combo strike repairs and strengthens a locked door with six 3 in long screws that attach to the jack/trimmer stud to help prevent kick-ins. Some mortising and pilot hole drilling may be required for flush install.
