Keep that mop from getting smelly. Just soak it in one gallon of hot water and one cup of hydrogen peroxide for 10 minutes. Rinse the mop out and let it air dry. This will keep your mop fresh and ready for its next job! The same is true with a broom. Your broom works just as hard as a mop. A good thing to do each month to your broom is give it a good cleaning. This will help it last longer too! What you will want to do is soak your broom in hot water for a couple of seconds. Then remove small particles with just a regular hair comb, brushed through the bristles. The best way to store you broom is by the handle tip to help prevent the broom head from bending or breaking. Moisture can get onto the bathroom ceiling and if your bathroom doesn't have good ventilation it can grow mildew or mold. An easy way to clean the ceiling is just to wipe it with a mop! So simple and will help keep your ceiling from collecting too much moisture. Are you tired of leaving streaks or lint particles behind when you clean your bathroom mirror or any other glass surface? Here's a tip – use coffee filters to clean any glass surface or mirror. They will shine the surface and not leave streaks or lint. Another great tip for cleaning your bathroom, is to clean up the built up, caked on hairspray that you've left behind on the floor or other surfaces with a mixture of fabric softener and water.

Now let's move on to the kitchen, another tough room to clean. Stainless steel sinks always seem to get water spots. A good way to remove them is with some rubbing alcohol. To remove smudges or fingerprints off the outside of the dishwasher use a damp cloth dipped in baking soda to remove them. When cleaning out your refrigerator, make sure you clean around the door seal. Often times this is a park of your refrigerator that can be missed. If mildew has appeared, clean it with a 1 to 1 solution of hydrogen peroxide and water. Just spray the solution onto the seal an let it soak for 30 minutes then wipe down.
