A nationwide mail fraud scheme is currently targeting individuals who may have expressed interest in making money from home. If you received a check bearing any variation of the name "Sutherland Lumber", along with a letter describing a "mystery shopper" research program, please note the check is fraudulent.

You may want to report this "secret shopper scam" to the United States Postal Inspector's office. You may also want to notify local law enforcement and/or your local media outlets in order to help prevent other citizens from falling victim to this scam.
